Nicaragua Surfari Travel Camp is located at a farm in the clouds overlooking San Juan Del Sur in a private retreat at 1200 to 1500 feet high. The farm has escarpment on two sides and mountains on the other which offers unparalleled privacy and security. From this mountainside you have scenic views of Costa Rica to the south, miles of beaches to the west, and volcanoes rising out of Lake Nicaragua to the east. It is a beautiful setting to relax pool side and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Finca las nubes is a certified organic farm with five gardens and numerous orchards where they grow all of the fruits and vegetables that will be served to you daily. All of the chicken and beef offered is free range, and eggs are fresh from the chicken coop. The tap water is drinkable and each kitchen has a water filter. The milk is fresh from the cows that you can pour into your organically grown coffee!
There are a variety of activities on the farm that include horse back riding through miles of trails with a guide that will point out a monkey and her baby perching on a limb, or a sloth all curled up sleeping in a tree. You can tour the wood shop, milk the cows, pick fruit from the trees, visit the gardens and observe the hydroponics system that produces fish, shrimp, and vegetables. There is even a bee keeper on the property!
Finca las nubes is surrounded by natural forest with numerous creeks and waterfalls. It has protected valleys for farming and free range open pastures for grazing animals such as: oxen, cows, chickens, and goats. There is so much wildlife to observe including three types of monkeys, sloth, deer, and hundreds of species of birds. You can walk freely through the protected property and enjoy the quality of life on the farm with soothing breezes and spectacular views.
The retreat is an all open air elegant mediterranean style 8 bedroom 6 bath home with a complete staff in charge of cleaning daily, cooking all of your meals, cleaning the pool, and they will do any laundry you leave out for them. Entertainment
Yoga- An effective exercise to improve your flexibility. We offer a yoga program that is geared towards surfing for a good core workout. There will be three classes for the week for our Nicaragua Surfari Travel Camp at the retreat overlooking San Juan Del Sur!
Boat trips- We offer two trips on a ponga boat to the top beach breaks along the coast of Nicaragua. We will provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks on the boating excursions.
Zip lining- at Da Flying Frog Canopy Tours where you soar between the 17 platforms 100 feet above the forest floor overlooking San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.
Masaya Volcano- is an active volcano in Nicaragua’s first and largest National Park. In addition you can browse through the park museum for historical information.
Shopping- There is ample shopping at the marketplace to buy gifts and souvenirs. Everything is very inexpensive compared to the United States.
Nightlife- You can enjoy the night life in San Juan Del Sur at some of the local bars and restaurants. Local beer is only $1.

Surf Camp Rates and Dates
$1500/per person shared accommodations for 7 nights/8 day stay.
Large groups of 5 or more will receive a 10% discount off any package and $100 discount for signing up with a friend!
Airfare is NOT included into your package. Please call us at 910.232.1592 as we have a promo code for discounted airfare rates with American Airlines. There is a 50% deposit due prior to your trip. Please see booking and cancellation policies for more information. Everyone must sign a waiver form prior to your arrival. A valid passport is required to travel to Nicaragua. You do not need any immunization shots going to Nicaragua.
